The human Polybromo-1 protein (Pb1) was recently identified as a unique subunit of the
PBAF (Polybromo, Brg1-Associated Factors) chromatin-remodeling complex required for
kinetochore localization during mitosis and the transcription of estrogen-responsive genes.
